The National Monument of Bangladesh.

The national monument of Bangladesh is a symbol of memories, what is carry out the memory of them who sacrifices their life in 1971 for Bering our freedom and independence from Pakistan. Before 1971 Bangladesh was a part of Pakistan and they always try to impose their illegal activities in Bangladesh. That’s why; people of Bangladesh demand their freedom from Pakistan. But Pakistan did not comply with Bangladeshi proposal, as a result they Pak army launched an inhuman attack on the innocent and peace loving people on Bangladesh in 26 March, 1971. Beginning the freedom war against Pakistan and Bangladesh and the liberation war was continued 9 month. During the war period Pak army killed thousand of men, women and raped innumerable women. Furthermore they killed hundred of intellectuals, thousand of village they set of fire, and a number of schools, colleges ware destroyed. There was a lot of terrible history in each family. 30 lac people live their life that time. A mother lost her young son/ daughter, a little child lost his father or mother, a Brother lost his brother or sisters, somebody’s lost his hands or legs or others part of his body, many mothers and sisters lost her awe. Altogether 1971 was a great memorial year for Bangladeshi. Finally Bangladesh achieved their freedom after 9 month bloody war.
We Bangladeshi people did not forget them who sacrifice their life to achieve the independence, every year in 26 March (Independence Day) we remember them from our heart and we go to monument to pay our respect. Not only that, that’s a government holly day and government and non-government organization celebrate various type of meeting, sports, kids of games, and so on in different place allover the country.
